3devo Filament Maker X10 Targets Up to 1.5 kg of Custom Filament per Hour

1 min read

Dutch manufacturer 3devo has introduced the Filament Maker X10, targeting the gap between laboratory development and small-scale filament production. The company says the system can produce up to 1.5 kg of filament per hour.

Key details

  • The machine joins the existing Filament Maker Two as a higher-throughput option.
  • Claimed production rate is up to 1.5 kg per hour.
  • Target users include universities, materials labs and smaller filament manufacturers.
  • Combined with 3devo shredding equipment, it can form part of a local recycling workflow.

Why it matters

Making filament in-house is not only about cost. It can be especially useful when developing filled materials, recycled polymers or small-batch formulations where control over the full material workflow matters.
