China Pushes Green-Laser Copper 3D Printing into Batch Production

1 min read

With its new XH-M350G-2HR, Xihe Additive is moving beyond demonstrations: copper cooling components for AI servers and power electronics are entering batch-production applications.

Why copper is difficult

Pure copper offers excellent thermal and electrical conductivity but is difficult for conventional infrared laser systems. Green wavelengths are absorbed more effectively.

From prototypes to batch production

Xihe Additive showed automotive power-module cold plates, GPU/CPU cold plates, memory cooling components and optical-module heat sinks as batch-production applications.

The new XH-M350G-2HR targets full-bed, long-duration and repeatable manufacturing of TPMS and microchannel structures.

Why it matters

Liquid cooling for AI servers is a rapidly growing market. Copper AM is moving from prototype work toward production.
