Mosaic Orion: Belt 3D Printing for Automated Custom Orthotics

Mosaic’s new Orion system continuously manufactures custom foot orthotics, running different patient jobs one after another without conventional manual batching.

Continuous production of unique parts

Orion’s belt architecture can manufacture different patient-specific devices one after another.

Mosaic says one machine can produce about 300 pairs per month, with a standard reference device taking roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Two materials

Aero is EVA-like for softer orthotics, while Align is polypropylene-like for rigid corrective devices.

The workflow is the key

The Stryde software suite connects 3D foot scanning, design and production-queue management.
